Photo: AP/Yorgos KarahalisGreek police are still investigating the death of the Greek-Australian man who was gunned down last week outside his home residence by a man dressed in black according to footage published by Kathimerini depicting the unknown individual fire four 9mm shots to the belly, chest and shoulder blade of Macris.Macris, a well-known businessman in Greece was once the target of an alleged murder plot in Sydney, where is considered somewhat of a gangster and had been jailed in 2003 for two years and six months for commercial drug supply, Fairfax reports.He allegedly left Sydney to escape a long-time rivalry with the notorious Ibrahim family, however, it seems he was also part of an ongoing Greek ‘gang war’ even though he had no criminal record in Greece.Meanwhile, Greek police are exploring if Macris had any connection to the murder of his friend, ex-policeman Spyros Papachristos earlier this year.
