G B Nagar: Gautam Buddh Nagar police have arrested 50 criminals who were wanted in different incidents of murder, loot, rape and other cases of heinous crimes in a 48-hours long drive.Cops said that the action was taken as part of a 15 days special drive called “Criminals Out” and the arrests were made on Wednesday and Thursday. According to police, the arrest were collectively made from all the police station areas of the district in July 24 and 25. Under this drive, all police stations around the district have been directed to arrest all those accused who are wanted in various cases of heinous crimes and are absconding,” said Vaibhav Krishna, Senior Superintendent of Police, Gautam Buddh Nagar. The senior cop further informed that three accused who were wanted in a murder case have been arrested from sector 39 police station of Noida. Nine criminals who were wanted in loot have been arrested from phase-2 police station area, one rape accused was arrested from site-5 police station area, six accused under gangster act were arrested from Dadri. While 31 other accused who were wanted in various criminal cases were arrested from other police stations of the district.
