The final event of the year on the calendar saw Category ‘A’, being led by Alphonso, battle a brave Gianni Carpenter for a straight three-set win.Alphonso pulled away for the 11-8 win. He then dominated the second with the skill that gave him the Under-15 Caribbean title. Carpenter came back fighting in the third although he was only able to secure 8 points again as Alphonso took his first win of 11-8, 11-5, 11-8.In the other Category ‘A’ bout, Ince-Carvalhal battled the talented Nicholas Verwey and after a crushing first-game defeat, he found himself 9-4 down in the second before clinching it 11-9. After winning a set 13-11, Ince wrapped up procedings to take the match 5-11, 11-9, 13-11, 11-9. The only girl in the advanced Category B Gomes defeated Lucas Jonas in four games.
